Monday Morning Coffee Inspiration – Part 2

Today’s post is a continuation of Monday Morning Coffee Inspiration. This idea came when I told my photographer-husband I’d like a “really cool cup photo” that reflects my love of coffee. Well, my dear husband took my request to heart and My cup runneth over! (Psalm 23:5) [1]

If you are one of those individuals who dislikes coffee, please imagine the cups are filled with tea or cocoa.

I hope you’ll enjoy Ron’s photographs as well as some scripture and inspirational thoughts about my favorite beverage, coffee!

Coffee and friends make the perfect blend.[2]

And [Jesus] went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. (Matthew 26:39)

Kindness is like coffee.
It awakens your spirit and improves your day.[3]

Wherever in the world I may be I must begin each day with coffee!

The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
(1 Corinthians 10:16)

The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup… (Psalms 16:5)

This Winnie the Pooh coffee mug is a treasure to Ron. It was a hand-picked Christmas gift from our second granddaughter, Mackenzie, when she was a little girl. Ron and I will probably not have a huge monetary inheritance to leave to our grandkids, but we do desire to leave a legacy of faith to each one.

I don’t need an inspirational quote.
I just need coffee! [4]
